LSN School

In the most charming and peaceful part of Lake Viverone, there is the club and the headquarters of the L.S.N. School of wakeboard in a warm and welcoming context in a friendly atmosphere, on a surface of 2000 square meters of lawn where the relaxation area with deckchairs and sun loungers overlook the lake on two natural terraces. Inside the club you can take advantage of a bar-sandwich service and cold dishes that you can eat in the shade of our dehors. There are also changing rooms, hot showers and toilets.

L.S.N. is one of the most important Italian schools of wakeboarding, wakesurfing and wakeskate also known abroad for its great professionalism and experience. The best wakeboard boats, the international coach Cesare Comollo, a qualified staff, facilities on land for dry training such as trampoline, skateboard ramp, gym and so on. 10 years old

Last year he won the Junior Boys’ World Champion at the Nautique WWA Wakeboard World Championships in Miyoshi City, Tokushima. The 10 years old boy, who rides seriously for 5 years now, spends hours and hours training each week, no matter what the weather conditions are. And results come in: for his first competiton at the age of 6, he finished 5 out of 20.

His favourite trick is the Raley but he has a lot of tricks in his arsenal. “I just like how your legs can stretch out right behind you and then the cool bit’s bringing it back in,” he said. This little guy from Australia is surely one of the next star of wake world.

Hi, I am Bijou and I love watersports like Windsurfing, Wakeboarding and Surfing. With every hour I spend on the water I’m getting closer to finish new tricks … I was born in St.Kilda in Melbourne Australia. It was easter 2008 as i got in touch with the first sail with 6 months. To be honest, i can’t remember that day in inverloch, where my parents were windsurfing and put me on a sail the first time to feel the nice Kevlar reinforced monofim. I just know, it was relaxed lying on a 5,7 square meters sail and that it is beautiful there…

This time, Niklas Scherer, a wakeboarder/drone pilot from Southern Germany, started filming riders at his local cable park with his racing drone, thinking it would open up new perspectives for wakeboarding and promote the sport. After some planning, he figured out how to make the drone waterproof and float in case of a crash over water so he could fly at least kind of freely… and without the risk of dunking his quad in the middle of a lake any moment. In that way, the past weekend he got the chance to team up with and film a very talented and promising young rider at his home spot, Rico Schuhmacher.

He’s only 15, started wakeboarding 3 years ago, and does not have a sponsor yet. Niklas edit is what he came up with to showcase some of Rico’s riding at their local Park. In less than an hour of filming, Rico absolutely ripped the park to shreds… but go see for yourself !

Kaitlyn shares her story in a clip from the series 60 Second Docs, which examines the lives of fascinating and inspiring people, “one minute at a time.” She explains that she began wakeboarding at 5 years old, simply by going to a wake park “and trying it over and over again.”

That’s exactly the kind of perseverance that Kaitlyn wants to encourage in others, especially girls. “I just really wish girls would push themselves harder,” she says in the video.

She acknowledges that it’s not always easy, and even she gets nervous sometimes. But her solution is a simple one: “I believe I can do it, and I guess I just do it.”

Whether you want to ride the waves like Kaitlyn, or you have another goal you’re working to accomplish, this young athlete has something important to share: “Keep trying even if you fall, because you’re gonna get it eventually.”
