From an early age I had a keen interest in capturing elements of life for my older self. What started as self documentation quickly turned to making videos for friends and eventually, at the end of 2014, delving into my first taste of corporate film. Welcome to Perth Wake Park

Perth Wake Park is the only cable wake board park in Western Australia.

It is conveniently located 30 minutes south of Perth City at the Mundijong Rd, Freeway exit.

The Park has a full size main cable, two beginner specific cables, a NEW bar, a café, pro shop, hire shop and a large veranda overlooking the action.

Bookings are not required to ride at the park during general opening hours. We run cable wakeboarding introduction sessions on our specific beginner systems and we have a Main Lake filled with obstacles for the advanced riders to enjoy.

We offer a range of different tickets to suit you, from hourly and daily tickets to full memberships to maximise your time on the water. Bring your own gear or just bring your board shorts or bikini, all the gear can be hired at the park and basic equipment is included in your ticket price. Wake Festival 2021 held in Poland August 11-14

Wake Festival 2021 : There is no wakespot where a competition like that can takes place in Poland . They’re borrowing a sesitec 2.0 lift and setting it up on the lake in the middle of the biggest Music festival just for a week 🙂

It’s the second edition of the Wake Fest festival. This wakeboard competition takes place during the biggest music festival in Poland this year –

Named “FEST” festival in Śląski park, Chorzów 11-14.08.2021r. It’s an invitationnal event only and some of the best polish riders are already confirmed for this year. There will be cash prizes and the prize pool is around 2000 EUR.

We want to share our sport and passion for wakeboarding with a wider audience and have a great time while doing it 🙂

The Wish !

They would love to see some riders from other countries so for all of those who would like to show up at WakeFest – they have some wild cards.

You just have to post a 10-30s video of your wakeboard skills with a short description of yourself on their,

Pedro Caldas and Dave AV continue to deliver epic wakeboarding content as we gear up for the new season. Their latest project, “Las Tres,” was captured in Mexico at Mayan Water Complex – a Hyperlite supported Wake Park. Join Pedro on his adventure around town and on the water, ripping behind the boat on his Wishbone, and throwing down at the park. Quick interview of Pedro Caldas :

How did you get started wakeboarding?
My first contact was in a trip to Orlando with my family, but I really started a few years later when my Dad made me the luckiest dude in the world and decided to open his own cable park, Naga.

Do you do any other board sports?
My roots come from surfing but nowadays I’ve been skating a bunch in the local skate park. Thiago Lemos is from the same city I live in.

What do you like the most about wakeboarding?
Riding on various countries, and meet new friends everywhere.

What do you dislike?
Nothing.

Name a trick you would like to do one day?
My dream is to create one of my own, have a some in mind, but need to put it in action.

Which do you prefer, rails or kickers?
Rails all the way….

If you could have a session with anyone, who would it be?
Everybody has something to bring to the table, but Guenther’s riding never ceases to amaze me. He is a creative and well rounded rider.

Tell us a bit about Your Home Spots?
I daily ride Naga, it has a strong connection with nature since it is surrounded by trees and the water is pura that comes from the grown.

Near by there’s an sick 2.0 called Mobe wake park, that has some cool features and good people in love with wakeboard.

And there’s also a new cable park here in Brasil called Sunset wake park, it has a full size and a sick bi-level. They hosted a pro competition last year that was aired in live in the biggest channel in the country (Daniel won, I got second). All thanks to the owner Matheus that is one of the most famous country singer out here.

When not riding at North Devon Wake Park, Spot On Wake and Camel Ski, Pedro earns himself a new nickname in this edit. “The Brazilian Cowboy” absolutely blows it up between the towers and behind the boat on his H/L UNION wakeboard. And Dave AV proves he’s on top of the game yet again. With a jammin’ sound and incredible riding, this one leaves us wanting more and wishing for a simpler life, livin’ in a van down by the cable. Filippo Chiarelli , only 17 years old …

Filippo Chiarelli is now 17 years old, start to “ride” on Orta lake as joke behind a cruising boat during the summer of 2014. From the next season he rode a bit in the local club but he is a student and don’t have a lot of budget for so he work a bit for at least do something because he saw that his skills were on another level compared to the other person, he was simply natural for him

The Shoots …

Went for a national and that little comp inspired him and decide to try as hard as possible to reach his best. He really do love the sport. He met Claudio Dal Lago, really good coach and owner of the SWS wake school in Abbadia Lariana (LC) on lake Como, he got the chance to move there, stay at Claudio place, help him at the club and get all the hours that he need. 2019 was the season where he prepare all basic technique and few mobes and 2020 definitely when he pop out with weekly trick.

We shoot this video to say give him a bit of visibility, this season he land 3 different doubles, got second in the Italian national really close to Lorenzo Soprani that is doing the Pro Tour, if not wrong he has 7 mobes 5 and 3 nine’s…let’s say that to be a perfect no one with only the O’Brian distributor that give him a board it’s not bad at all!
