More about Revolution Cable park

In 2003 the Revolution Cable Park idea was spawned. Today it is a reality. The cable system is a Ski Rixen Model, with 5 towers and runs in a normal counter-clockwise direction. The park encompasses approximately 20 acres and includes a 3/4 mile nature trail along one of the most pristine wetlands in the area with the addition of 270 recently planted native trees and 4,200 native plants.

The cable is operated at approximately 19 miles per hour allowing riders to wakeboard, kneeboard, ski or wakeskate. 7 riders can be on the system at one time, if you fall while riding, it is just a short swim to shore and walk back to the start dock where you can be riding again in minutes.

The system is run by the use of electricity and does not require any gasoline for operation. You will be surprised by the ease of riding on the system and the lack of engine noise when compared to riding behind a boat. In addition to those positives, the use of the cable system infuses 5 tons of oxygen per year into the lake water which helps the plants and fish as well as clarifies the water.

Graeme Burress LandLOCKED …

While INSIGHT was receiving accolades and honors at the end of 2019 Graeme Burress was in a Philippines hospital looking at a rough x-ray.

He broke his arm which required multiple surgeries and almost six months of recovery. It’s a tough way to begin any season but Graeme has battled through tougher circumstances.

During his downtime he focused on developing his new pro model shape, the Blacklist, and mapping out everywhere he wanted to ride in 2020. Then Covid hit and flipped the switch yet again.

Graeme has been residing in Austin, TX, close to fellow Hyperlite team rider, JB O’Neill and the two of them hatched this idea to just load up the Prius and drive to every park they could.

Luckily for the two of them, master drone pilot and content creator Dave Averillo, or Dave AV, was stuck in Orlando with nothing to do. They found him a $23 airfare so they could all meet at The Levee Wake Park outside Dallas where they’d spend a couple weeks filming as Graeme was finally able to jump back on his board. From there the crew moved from wake park to wake park, winching along the way and capturing everything they could for Graeme’s LandLOCKED edit.

This edit is a continuation of where Graeme left off after INSIGHT, full of hammers, first-ever and gnarly stunts. 2020 was an unexpected season for us all, but according to Graeme, maybe being landlocked isn’t that bad and maybe it was just what he needed so he could focus on his wake boarding while visiting 13 parks throughout the US.

Graeme’s walks us through where it was placed and what his goals were for each feature, including shots that weren’t included in the final edit. This is a great guide on how to build up to the trick you have in mind, staying focused on it and progressing until you get it. He also goes in depth on the snapped Wishbone as he goes Wall Rider to the down pipe, amazing he was able to ride that one out for a bit. Il n’y a pas de mots pour décrire avec précision la vidéo de Graeme, chaque plan est impressionant et on parle même pas des tricks… Il y a tellement de figures à voir en 4 minutes et 22 secondes que regarder “The Section” vous en paraîtra 20 secondes de visionnage.
