HIGH QUALITY WAKEBOARD FEATURES
– Goodboards are considered very strong thanks to high- end European materials, robust construction, wet layup, long press duration.
The fast and durable bases are 0.6mm thick sintered polyethylene. Our material glides better and withstand more than other popular thin foil bases, one of the reasons we have very few customer complaints.
– Channels improve steering and stability and ours are especially effective. They are mortised directly in the wooden core.
– All wakeboards have quadraxial fiberglass layer in the top and bottom sheet increasing durability and power transmission compared to biaxial fiberglass boards. We use a fiberglass layer construction which runs edge to edge guaranteeing 20% higher performance over the standard cheaper fiberglass weaves.
– Carbon Power Stingers run longitudinally through the bottom sheet of all of our wakeboards providing more pop and harmonious flex.
– A special rubberized layer between the base and ABS edges cushions as well as protects from delamination.
– Robust and thicker ABS Edges protect the construction from damage by obstacles
– High-end real wood cores specifically with hardwood for the inserts. There is a lot of force leveraged through the bindings into the inserts; hardwood cores ensure reliable hold.
– We produce boards with a drill-able inlay rather than with fins, as most customers ride without them. This eliminates potential water damage through the fin holes left in the base when the fins are removed.
– Our designs have an elegant and timeless optic compared to our competitors.
– We organize over 70 days of free demos for our customers to test the quality themselves; more than any other wakeboard brand !

Wakeboard and skimboard action lure pros and beginners

Among the trade fair highlights for the board artists at boot Düsseldorf were the legendary Cable Mekka Awards. Around 500 riders and proud members of the community plus many friends met in the Cinema Filmkunstkino, to which the organizers of The Cable magazine and boot Düsseldorf had invited for the 20th awarding of the coveted trophies. Felix Georgii (Kranzegg) and Anne Freyer (Mannheim) were presented with the “Rider of the Year” awards. Eight other awards for exceptional performances and documentaries from the wakeboard world demonstrated the diversity of this growing community. At the height of the evening, Wakeboard veteran and boot presenter Clint Liddy was moved to tears. The Australian living in Frankfurt (“The Wakeboard Voice”) was honored for his lifetime achievement and said: “I never saw that coming. I am very happy that I can celebrate this matter of my heart here at boot with the entire industry.” And the industry had many reasons more to be pleased, as the Brand Manager of Liquid Force Germany put it. Karsten Krey said: “I have been at this trade fair for 40 years and can say: There was a buzzing this year! For the scene, the boot Düsseldorf is the highlight in winter.” The Pooltastic Wakeboard Contest in the flatwater pool was won by Nico von Lerchenfeld from Cologne, ahead of Pedro Caldas from Brazil and Germany’s Max Milde. Later in the week, the finest skimboard techniques and stylish moves were presented by leading European skimboarders. Semjon Szillat and Lydia Blanke won the “Battle of the boot” for their Team Skimzone Germany. As a sporty and a private couple, both showed how versatile this Sport can be for everyone.

LANGENFELD OPEN SETUP

The LANGENFELD OPEN presented by O’Neill is a new international contest taking place in Langenfeld, Germany. Carried out in both Pro Women and Pro Men it’s sure going to set itself apart by incorporating massive UNIT-hacks and wave-breakers to the setup.

The LANGENFELD OPEN are going to put the worlds biggest cable park back on the map of competitive wakeboarding. On May 20th 2017 some of the worlds best wakeboarders are taking it to the water to battle it out for $10.000 of prize money.

The key feature of the LANGENFELD OPEN will be the distinctive course setup. Seven sections are going to be modified with extraordinary feature-hacks and combined with wave breakers. Going down at cable 1, one run is limited to half a lap. In the “open section“, riders will be able to choose between throwing an air trick or alternatively a kicker trick.

TURNCABLE TAKEOVER – 2016

Return on the Turncable Takeover 2016

Sesitec Teamriders taking over Turncable. What was this project all about? Simply about having a great time with the best team mates, wakeboarding from day to night, showing some creative riding and all of that captured in nice shots and videos. After the big action sports event, Munich Mash, a lot of Sesitec’s Teamriders were already in Germany. Perfect time and place to gather around and have a nice team wakeboard session. And why not invite some great photographers and filmmakers and make a media event out of it? To join the other guys, wakeboard legend Tom Fooshee came all the way from America and took part in a week of wakeboarding and photo shooting.

The crew was unbeatable! What a strong constellation of riders: Nico von Lerchenfeld, Felix Georgii, Tom Fooshee, James Windsor, Brenton Priestley, Max Balser, Yanneck Konda, Steffen Vollert, Manu Rupp and Tobias Michel.

The System 2.0 HD was their playground for almost a whole week! Here, the guys had their private area, could talk about their ideas, enjoyed food together (from awesome burgers, pasta to excellent BBQ) and could also sleep in on-site bungalows. Two boys shared a bungalow where they could spread their wakeboards and stuff – for these few days it really felt like a small wakeboard community just focusing on a common goal.

To let everyone else share their experience at Turncable Takeover, the guys were constantly publishing great action shots on social media with the hashtag #turncabletakeover.

But the action was not only happening at the System 2.0 HD. Also shooting at the two Full Size Cables with a brand new Unit Parktech set-up was on the list and completed their perfect spot for having a great wakeboard shooting.

It was all about capturing high-quality shots! The set-up at the System 2.0 HD was rebuilt every day. The riders were doing it all together: first discussing what set-up could be fun and challenging to ride and then jumping in the water, rebuilding and anchoring it. From time to time it became an exhausting task to complete but together as a team the guys really killed it. The results were action packed, great photos and videos. But it was not only about wakeboarding all the time … the young guns Yanneck Konda and Tobi Michel were showing their superman skills while being pulled up the air by the System 2.0 HD. Also barefoot riding was up on the “agenda”– always a classic.

To catch some good light, the team had to get up early in the morning. Coffee and go! Seeing the first results, the team was convinced and made their best to get out of bed every day before sunrise. Top photographer Stefan Eigner and filmmaker Steffen Vollert were joined by Lukas Riegl and Jan Schädle. This constellation of creative minds combined with professional and fun riding was a guarantee for big hits. With the help of the whole team, the shots were realized. Back to the boat life: Tom or Brenton jumped onto the motorboat and drove the photographers and filmmakers as close to the features as possible.

After long days of shooting the team was always coming together at a campfire, enjoying some beers and BBQ and just having a good time. They know each other really well, but the times when they come together for a longer period of time, just doing what they love, are getting quite rare. So there were enough topics to talk about – from wakeboard history to hair care (yes!) and the performance of the German soccer team during the European Championships.

All in all, the project could not have turned out any better. The team grew together even more and had an awesome time together, they pushed each other to great performances, showed their creativity and skills and the outcomes were amazing. Thanks to the whole Turncable crew as they didn’t miss a beat. The team riders didn’t have to worry about anything but having a good time. Great people – great project – Turncable Takeover was a blast… or how the boys would say – Turncable Takeover was gnarly!

The Bricks Open went down for its third time in a row and was better than ever!

The Bricks Open is a small but nice and chill cable contest hosted by the crew at the Bricks in Duisburg, Germany. More than 1000 spectators sat down by the shoreline and watched the action. Just for the event, the crew rebuilt the park and created a setup which gave the riders a perfect place to play. 40 riders from all over Europe came together to ride the unique contest format.

This year’s Bricks Open was dominated by the young, next generation of wakeboarders like the 17 years old Florian Weiherer who grabbed the win and the desired trophy – the Überring.

The return of the “WAKE THE LINE 16 ” this year was a real Poker Game, for the UNIT PARKTECH Crew, but they put “All In” on the table and it was a real success with more than 10 000 peoples on the banks and on the Facebook Live stream.

Wake the line, where the Mix between wakeboard and wakeskate works on a perfect harmony .
Just Lets talk about the Master of this Both disciplines, i named “Mr Daniel Grant” ….
Daniel after a Majestic triple run , owned the final of wakeskate just before Andrew Pastura for USA and Andy Kolb from Germany .
But if you think “That’s all folks”, i just answering , this kid is full of surprises ….

Let me Count you the story of a real DOMINATION …
Daniel start is first qualification run head to head with Brenton Priestley the freshly winner of the XGAMES 2016, and after 3 pass he kick his ass…
With this qualification in the Pocket Daniel get Mr Aaron Gunn in semi-finals , he was nice and clean on the rails and after some perfects transfers tricks Daniel Finish finally first and kick Aaron Out also….
By the end ,the final comes. It just remain 4 riders on the starting Dock, Dom Hernler, Nico Von Lerchenfeld, Raph Derome ( The winner of the last Wake the Line ) and Mr Dany Boy the best Rails rider on earth in fight for this last opportunity to be the KING of Wake the Line … And who guess the lead on his 3 runs ? I just named Mr Daniel Grant …
THE DOMINATION of Daniel during this event was insane despite his Head Injury and on the Both disciplines, and by the end “Daniel Grant” Rules the 2016 Wake The Line.
Congrats to him for this Insane Victory …..
